BLACK-OWNED BRAND MAYA’S COOKIES LAUNCHES VEGAN COOKIE SUBSCRIPTION CLUB

San Diego, CA-based vegan cookie company Maya’s Cookies has launched a Cookie Love Club subscription box. The box, which ships nationwide, gives customers the option to have six cookies delivered to their door every month—four cookies are seasonal flavors and two are exclusive flavors only for Cookie Love Club members—along with Maya’s Cookies merchandise such as limited-edition stickers, pins, and patches. This month’s flavors include pumpkin spice chocolate chip, Drunken Grandma, caramel pecan, brown sugar butterscotch, pumpkin spice snickerdoodle, and oatmeal chocolate chip. The subscription box can be paid monthly or prepaid in three-, six-, or 12-month increments at a discounted price.

“Our fans and cookie lovers have been asking for a Cookie Subscription forever. But at Maya’s Cookies, we don’t just want to deliver what’s expected, we want to take it to the next level,” Maya’s Cookies founder Maya Madsen told VegNews. “Not only will we have exclusive flavors that are available to Love Club members only, but we will also have a special merch surprise in every beautiful blue box.”

Earlier this year, Maya’s Cookies launched a limited-edition cookie tribute to former First Lady Michelle Obama. To create the cookie, Madsen veganized the winning recipe Obama submitted during the Presidential Cookie Bake-Off.
